Services and history

We started trading as Lockkeys Locksmith Services in 2009 providing a general locksmith service. Having ourselves been let down by trades people who dont answer calls, turn up late or dont turn up at all we pride ourselves on providing a quality, reliable locksmith service with transparent prices including no call out charges or vat.

Our business has quickly grown mainly as a result of treating people like we like to be treated ourselves and providing a quality service to all customers. As a result we provide our locksmith services for private residential customers, letting and estate agents, private landlords and a large charitable organisation.

People and culture

Our people are what make us unique. Being a man and wife team of Pam and Derek its normally Pam who takes the calls provides quote and makes the appointments with our customers. The locksmith work is provided by Derek and because we are a family run business Pam is normally able to provide our customers in Widnes a fairly accurate time of arrival if work is required the same day. This means our customers are not wasting time waiting in for our locksmith services.

Pam Mercer

Provides the administrative part of the business, answering calls, providing quotes and making appointments.

Derek Mercer

Locksmith, Locksmith Tutor,Assessor and IQA. Derek provides the locksmith work within our business but also trains people who wish to become locksmiths. He has security related experience and knowledge spanning over 40 years.
